Differentiate :
Not every student’s path of learning looks the same. In the journey of gaining knowledge and demonstrating understanding and skill students require different feedback and even different opportunities to demonstrate their abilities.
The differentiate section contains both formative and summative assessments. The summative is the goal for each unit-the destination for the student. The formative allows the student to practice and demonstrate their understanding of designated targets. Teachers provide feedback to the learner so they can continue to improve on their understanding and skill level for the summative. There is always a constant back-and-forth between teacher and student to ensure the students success in achieving each target.

FormativeTARGET
Formative assessments are not only great for providing students with feedback, but they are also incredibly useful for teachers as well. A teacher uses the formative to gain information on how each student is performing individual as well as gauge the overall classroom atmosphere. Once a teacher has that information they can adjust the way material is relaid to the student(s), tweak or over haul assessments and even revisit the targets if necessary. The formative allows teaching and learning to be a fluid process, always ready for change, in order to ensure student success, at any level.

Feedback TARGET
Feedback for students is vital in their educational journey. Students being provided with feedback will know where they may need to practice more, make adjustments, re-think a problem, or look at the subject in a new light. Without feedback students will have no way of knowing if they are achieving the standard. Feedback will allow students further clarity which will lead to their success in the classroom.
